This is achieved through the practice of highly effective sets of exercises, called Kriyas, energetically balanced and which create specific effects by working directly on the total energy of the Self. Kriyas are specific sequences of postures, movements, breath and sound with different types of concentration and focus. The effects are very potent as they effectively cut through blocks to experience more elevated states of consciousness within a very brief span of time \u2013 in some cases as little as only 3 minutes. It does not require great flexibility nor previous experience of meditation. The practice of Kundalini Yoga offers an immediate experience of being more deeply connected with oneself and the world in which one lives.<\/p>\n<p>Yogi Bhajan defined Kundalini as follows:<em> \u201c\u00a0\u2018Kundalini\u2019 is the creative potential in each human being. It is known as the nerve of the soul. This, your soul, is to be awakened. It can be experienced when the energy of the glandular system combines with the energy of the nervous system to create such a state of heightened sensitivity that the totality of the brain receives signals and integrates them. Then you become totally and wholly aware, and your creative potential becomes available to you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\"><strong>\u00a0SHAKTI DANCE AND KUNDALINI YOGA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although Shatkti Dance is rooted\u00a0 on Kundalini Yoga, the eight phases of Shakti Dance are different to the phases of Kundalini Yoga. The dynamic moves in Shakti Dance are rarely precisely those given by Yogi Bhajan and the sequencing of the exercises do not correspond with \u2018kriyas\u2019 as given by Yogi Bhajan. On the other hand, most of the elements of Shakti Dance are based on Kundalini Yoga.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/shaktisoul.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSCF0203.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/shaktisoul.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSCF0203-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"DSCF0203\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>The graceful and fluid movements characteristic of Shakti Dance are mostly based on the dynamics and the interior angles and triangles known to Kundalini Yoga and further refined to accentuate wave-forms, spiral movements and figure-of-eight motion, thus releasing the pranic flow in a gentle and deeply meditative way. Much of the music and mantras used in Shakti Dance are from the world of Kundalini Yoga \u2013 although, unlike KY, many Hindu mantras are also used. The Shakti Dance phase of \u2018Mantric Choreographies\u2019, creating meaningful dance movements and mudras to express mantras, is also inspired by an aspect of the Kundalini Yoga Teachings known as \u201cCelestial Communications\u201d \u2013 moving to mantras with the arms and mudras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although Shakti Dance does not explicitly employ kriyas, the flow of stretches on the floor and of the standing sequences in a session may become spontaneous Kriyas, working in a similar way to those of Kundalini Yoga. La pr\u00e1ctica de Kundalini Yoga\u00a0ofrece una experiencia inmediata, la experiencia de estar m\u00e1s profundamente\u00a0conectado con uno mismo y con el universo, con un universo donde vivir desde\u00a0una sensibilidad m\u00e1s elevada y una percepci\u00f3n mayor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yogi Bhajan defini\u00f3 el Kundalini de la siguiente forma: <em>\u201cKundalini es el potencial\u00a0creativo en todo ser humano. Se le conoce como el nervio del alma. Tu alma debe\u00a0ser despertada. Entonces te\u00a0vuelves total e \u00edntegramente consciente, y tu potencial creativo est\u00e1 disponible para\u00a0ti.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\"><strong>SHAKTI DANCE Y YOGA KUNDALINI<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Aunque Shakti Dance tiene sus ra\u00edces en las ense\u00f1anzas de Kundalini\u00a0Yoga, las ocho fases de Shakti Dance son diferentes de\u00a0las fases de Kundalini Yoga. Los movimientos din\u00e1micos en Shakti Dance casi\u00a0nunca son exactamente como los dados por Yogi Bhajan y las secuencias de\u00a0ejercicios no se corresponden con \u201ckriyas\u201d dadas por Yogi Bhajan. El movimiento din\u00e1mico se ha refinado m\u00e1s en Shakti Dance para as\u00ed acentuar las formas de onda, los movimientos en espiral y el movimiento de la figura del ocho, liberando as\u00ed el flujo pr\u00e1nico de una forma suave y profundamente meditativa. La mayor\u00eda de la m\u00fasica y mantras utilizados\u00a0en Shakti Dance provienen del mundo de Kundalini Yoga, aunque, a diferencia de\u00a0KY, tambi\u00e9n se utilizan muchos mantras hind\u00fas. La fase de \u201cCoreograf\u00eda\u00a0M\u00e1ntrica\u201d, en la cual se crean significativos movimientos de danza y mudras para\u00a0expresar los mantras, est\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n inspirada en un aspecto de las Ense\u00f1anzas de\u00a0Kundalini Yoga conocido como \u201cComunicaci\u00f3n Celestial\u201d, movimiento de los brazos\u00a0y mudras para meditar con los mantras.\u00a0Aunque Shakti Dance no usa expl\u00edcitamente kriyas, cuando la secuencia de asanas\u00a0fluidas en la segunda fase viene indicada por el flujo consciente de Prana, estas\u00a0secuencias pueden convertirse en Kriyas espont\u00e1neas, trabajando de forma\u00a0parecida a las de Kundalini Yoga.
